When using Speakup with a Speakout synthesizer, I occasionally hear parts of the synth. command string spoken, much like what had been reported earlier this week. So I guess this problem is not restricted to any specific synthesizer. I particularly notice this when either typing quickly or pressing other keys to interrupt speech. I am using v0.09 on a 486 with linux 2.2.16.
